Search Devine Busted Mugshots

Devine posts no public photo gallery, so busted mugshots here take a couple of steps. First figure out who handled the case. Devine Police Department holds its own incident files. Medina County Jail matters only if a booking happened there. Those are two separate record paths. The city runs an open-records request route for its files, and the sheriff's office or the jail can point you to the right custody contact. A dated news story might name an agency or an event. It is not a booking record, so treat it as a lead. The court file that follows the case will tell you how things ended. That later file matters most.

Devine Arrests and Busted Mugshots

Devine counted 4,324 residents in the April 1, 2020 Census figure shown behind the city map. The police department here acts as an arresting agency and report source. The county sheriff and jail serve as the documented custody fallback. Keep those two roles apart. A Devine officer might issue a citation, release someone on the spot, or transfer a person. A custodial case can also move into the county system. Only the agency tied to that specific event can confirm which path it took.

The Devine Police Department page offers no daily arrest log, bookings table, mugshot search, or stated photo policy. Medina County's sheriff page is similar. There is no public roster or booking-photo interface there either. A fruitless search on either site settles nothing. It just means the official record has to be requested from the office that holds it.

Important: A news story, an arrest report, a booking file, and a court disposition can each describe the same event in different words, and booking entries can change, get dropped, or never become a filed case.

Where Devine Busted Mugshots Appear

No official public photo roster exists for Devine or Medina County. Need a municipal report or an open-records request? Start with the city police department or the City Secretary. If the person went into county custody, ask Medina County Jail or the sheriff's records channel about the booking record. Texas IVSS-Counties is a notification service for eligible users. It is not a photo search. It is not a daily bookings feed.

The major mugshot aggregators had no verified Medina County, Texas section. RecentlyBooked's Texas index did not list the county. The apparent Busted Newspaper hit actually pointed to Ohio. Commercial pages never substitute for an official record. They can also linger online long after a status changes.

Busted in Devine: Start With the Agency

Give the agency a precise name and a rough incident date. That small detail helps a lot. It lets the city separate similar names and helps the county decide whether a request matches a real booking. Ask for the existing incident, booking, or court record itself. An agency will not write a new report or field a broad question when a document is the thing you need.

  1. Check the current Devine Police Department page for a new records or bulletin link.
  2. Ask the police department whether it holds the city report and where the individual was routed after the encounter.
  3. If county custody may have occurred, contact Medina County Sheriff's Office or Jail with the name and date, and ask which record is releasable.
  4. Submit a written request for the particular report or booking record, rather than requesting an undefined list of people.
  5. Check the court custodian for the later result and record the date searched.

The county-wide Medina record and custody route sorts out current county custody, a past booking, Texas prison custody, federal custody, and immigration detention. Someone released from the jail may not show up in a current-custody check at all.

Devine Police Records Requests

Devine posts an Open Records Request form on its City Forms page. A strong request names the person and gives a date range. It should point to a specific police report. It should also ask the city to identify who holds any booking photo. No photo-specific fee or guaranteed response time is published. Texas Government Code Chapter 552 requires a written, records-focused request. Confirm any charges or exceptions directly with the city.

Devine, TX 78016

Police: 830-663-4403
City Secretary: 830-663-2804
City records email: citysec@cityofdevine.com

The City Secretary page lists Dora V. Rodriguez at 303 South Teel Drive as the city records contact. Devine Police publishes police@cityofdevine.com plus a fax number. Verify the current custodian and the right receiving method before sending private details or payment. One wrinkle worth knowing: a city report can document the encounter yet contain no county booking photo.

Note: Ask for a clearly named report or image, because a governmental body has no duty to create a new record just to answer a question.

Devine After-Hours Calls and County Custody

Devine's police page says the sheriff answers its phone lines after 5 p.m., on weekends, and on holidays. So the city's closure makes Medina County Sheriff's Office the sensible call for custody questions. That link does not put every Devine event in the county jail, though.

Medina County runs its jail, dispatch, and communications 24 hours a day, all year. There is no matching 24-hour booking page. No official same-day, 48-hour, 72-hour, weekly, or rolling online Medina feed exists. No sheriff-branded booking app surfaced either. A timestamped official inquiry is the fallback for a recent event.

Texas moved its eligible custody notifications from VINE to IVSS-Counties on September 1, 2025. IVSS can report qualifying custody or case events. It shows no public mugshot gallery, and it cannot tell you everyone arrested that day.

Devine Crime Reports Are Leads

For dated Devine and Natalia police-report text, Devine News Local Police Reports is the place to start. Its companion Local Crime Report gathers crime and arrest summaries the same way. Treat both as journalism, not custody records. Neither is a roster. Neither offers a mugshot gallery or same-day completeness. The historical Hondo Anvil Herald booking column is another archival clue for county research, though it says nothing about a current Devine police feed. No official Devine police log exists in that form.

Why bother with a news report? It can hand you the date, the arresting agency, and a name's correct spelling. That is exactly what a records request needs. A report cannot tell you whether someone is still in custody, whether a booking photo exists, or how a case ended. Keep the article date and source, then confirm with police, sheriff, or court. The Medina crime-news page sorts out these county-level source distinctions.

Devine Busted Cases and Later Records

A booking is only the opening chapter. The case file lives with the court. Medina County splits that work between two offices. The Medina County Clerk and District Clerk each hold different criminal-record duties, and both point to the official Tyler public-access path for case searches. One caution: a clerk's case result answers a different question than a live warrant check. Go to the right office for the right answer.

Booked
Accepted into a custody system after intake, if that occurred.
Released or transferred
No longer in the same county-custody status, though a record may remain with the custodian.
Disposition
The later court result that should be read before drawing conclusions about a charge.

Custody can move beyond the county. When a person transfers into Texas state custody, skip county booking claims and use the TDCJ inmate information service instead. Federal and immigration questions go to the BOP and ICE locators. Medina sheriff material shows no ICE detention agreement. Ask the individual agency directly rather than assuming one exists.
